How do I use the learning mode on my charging station?
Learning Mode is a feature integrated into charging stations to improve convenience and security. When activated, the charging station records and stores the unique identifications of RFID cards presented over the next hour. The car does NOT begin charging after an RFID card is presented, so it is possible to present multiple RFID cards in succession. These identifiers are then stored as whitelisted charge cards specific to that installation. You can find them with any name in the charge card menu, where you can change them and give them a more meaningful name.
How does learning mode work?
Activation: Users or administrators can activate Learning Mode by editing the charging station under "infra -> charging station".
Data capture: Once activated, the charging station starts capturing the unique identifiers (UIDs) of RFID cards presented for a period of up to 1 hour. IMPORTANT: A car must be connected to the charger for this to work!
Storage and processing: The captured UIDs are stored on the portal under the same owner as that of the charging station.
If you want to stop the learning mode, turn it off after you have read all your RFIDs, although this stops automatically after 1 hour of activity.
You will see a charge card appear under charge cards. The name of the charge card consists of the UUID followed by the exact time it was read. You can, of course, change this name to the name of the specific employee.
