How can you use discount codes on your charging station?

To do this, click on charging sites in the "infra" menu on the left.

Select your charging site and click on the pencil icon to edit. Check "Accept discount codes" and save.

Now the charging sites under this charging site can use discount codes.

On the same page, scroll down to the "discount codes" section.

Here you will get an overview of the discount codes you have created.

A discount code itself should be unique, and best combined from letters and numbers so as not to make it too simple.

Therefore, when creating a new discount code, you can also click the "generate" button to generate a slightly more complicated unique code.

Your charging site will already be populated.

Enter the discount amount per kWh.

Note! This discount amount will be deducted from the amount you are paid.

So for example, if you have a public-0 type charging site where you are paid the CREG, the price you are paid will be less than the CREG price if this discount code is applied.

Pricing example:

You have a site of type public-10 where you therefore set the price yourself. You have set the price as 0.5€ ex.

If a customer charges at your charging station and uses a discount code of 0.05 cents, this means that you will be paid only 0.45€ per kWh instead of 0.5€ for customers who do not use discount codes.

ATTENTION: Discount codes can only be granted to users of the QR code. So people charging with another party's charge card can NOT benefit from these discount codes. This is because we cannot charge different rates to third-party charge card issuers than your standard rate.

You can provide these discount codes to your loyal customers before starting a charging session. The user must scan the QR code and follow the steps by either registering themselves or charging AdHoc. During this procedure and just before starting the loading session, the user can then enter a discount code.

Once a charging session has started, the rate is fixed. We can therefore NOT intervene on charging sessions that would have started without the discount code.
